Misty, my first horse.  A graduation
gift from my parents.
These pictures are in the Santa Fe National Forest, and
where most of my westerns are set.  As you can see, it's
beautiful country
This is me in a horse show wearing the
silver hat band, on my mare, Suntif.  Sunny
(a name I use often for horses in my
westerns) died peacefully at home in her
stall at the age of 32.  She gave me 25
years of pure enjoyment.  Be sure to view
the poem I dedicated to her.
This is looking out my front door in
Edgewood, New Mexico.  Who says
New Mexico is a desert!
Tony, my Chihuahua is guarding the front
gate. See more of Tony in the dog section
below.
This is Kiss Me Kate, my
daughter's Arab mare drinking out
of the bird bath.  Hummm, wonder
if the birds are bathing in her
water trough.
18 inches of snow is common
during the winter in Edgewood.
Elevation 6600 ft.

I've got two dogs, Tony, who as a
pup liked to sit on my desk and
watch me working on the
computer. He also likes to lay
around on the carpet just looking
cute.
Walter is my daughter's
weimaraner.  He's a great
dog...knows not to chase the
horses.

Tyberius, the pug belongs to my
son.  He loves everybody, but
Walter.
I've also got a standard poodle
named Tessa, who is about the
smartest dog we've ever owned.
She's only a year old now, but as a
pup loved her kitty.  She also
loves Tony.  Lately, she's been
chasing the horses which isn't so
smart now that I think about it.
Here's a view at dawn from our
room at Turtle Bay Resort in
Hawaii.  If you've never been to
Hawaii, I highly recommend it.
Here's me and my hubby diving in
Sharks Cove, O'ahu June 09,
and the one below is my son and
his wife who took us to Hawaii for
our anniversary.
As soon as I got back from Hawaii I
was back in the saddle for a four
day trail ride on my daughter's new
Arabian mare, Bibi.  Her real name
is too hard to spell and pronounce!
